Early in 2022, Avanti Federal Credit Union was looking at excess liquidity and a lack of auto loans. At the time, they did not have an indirect lending product in place and wanted to look for a partner that would fit their individual needs. The credit union hired a consultant that quickly started researching companies that would check each box they needed. The consultant’s primary directive was to find a solution that was cost-effective and met their unique needs as a smaller credit union.

CUAC’s indirect lending products provided the cost-effective solution that Avanti was looking for while also providing all the bells and whistles needed to compete in today’s landscape. Avanti FCU was founded in 1953 as Watertown Employee’s FCU. In 2009, it received approval from the National Credit Union Administration to change its name to Avanti Federal Credit Union. On March 1, 2018, Avanti FCU merged with Glacial Lakes Educational Employees FCU expanding their field of membership.
