CUAC Response to COVID-19
No surprise but 2020 has been a troubling time for most people due to the ever-present Corona Virus which has negatively impacted many businesses. In response, most, if not all, businesses have had to adapt to new situations such as self-quarantining and enhanced social distancing to keep employees and consumers safe. These kinds of responses have taken a toll on the auto industry and have put Credit Unions at a disadvantage when competing for their members’ auto financing needs. Flexibility is Key with Indirect Lending Provider for Fortera Credit Union
For almost 14 years now, Fortera Credit Union in Clarksville, Tennessee has operated a very successful indirect program using the services provided by Credit Union Acceptance Company, LLC (CUAC). In early 2006, Fortera contracted with CUAC to provide its Full-Service Indirect Program which included dealer representation, underwriting, loan processing, funding and all back-off related tasks such as charge-back processing, title services, etc. Over the course of the next 13 years, with a lot of hard work by both parties, the program grew tremendously.
